Sikadur®-31 IN is supplied as two components, Part A and Part B. The specified mixing ratio is 2:1 by weight. The components are mixed thoroughly until a uniform grey paste is obtained.
Before application, the substrate should be properly prepared and free from loose material, dust, oil, grease and other contaminants. Correct surface preparation is essential for achieving the designed bond strength.
For vertical or overhead applications, the non-sag consistency helps maintain the adhesive in position during installation.
The recommended application temperature for Sikadur®-31 IN is +10°C to +40°C, and the substrate temperature should be at least 3°C above the dew point to reduce condensation risk.
